My background as an assistant in the corporate world spans 16 years. It was a demanding role, working on strategic projects, supporting directors and lots of planning! I loved my job, I had travelled the world virtually, but really wanted to set up my own business.
Initially I wanted to earn a small secondary income, with a vision to build this up to full time.
I knew that in the future I wanted to reduce my hours in the corporate world as my dream is to be a full time mummy and be able to work flexible from home, so I started a business within a global network marketing company.
I knew it would not be plain sailing and I would have to work hard to balance my career, business and day to day life.
I was prepared to do this and remain dedicated to creating a successful future for my family.
Then, in early 2015 my husband was presented with an opportunity for a new job in Dubai. Honest opinion? It tipped our world upside down for a few months, but the thought of the adventure made us jump at the chance.
