There's one child called David who we have recently helped, his mother and father have both passed away due to AIDS. He lives with his grandmother and has to take medication daily to help control the HIV that he contracted through his parents.

The problem being is that he doesn't have the food that he needed to survive alongside the medication.

David was so thin he was only days away from dying, thankfully we were put in touch with David and managed to hospitalise him for 3 months.

Help Africa aims at empowering children in need, especially orphans to realize their potential, gain confidence and build self-esteem. By improving their lifestyle, both the individual and community are enriched. This contributes towards elevating Uganda and ultimately making the world into a better place.

You see we don't believe in taking these children out of the country to give them a better life.

That doesn't solve anything, we believe in educating these children so they can improve their own lifestyle which in turn will improve the country of Uganda and ultimately help stop the hamster wheel of children being born into situations that they simply cannot escape.

It's incredible to see these children because although they have nothing and I mean absolutely nothing but the tattered clothes on their backs, they are so happy!

They have incredible dreams and vision, you ask them what they want to become and they will tell you a doctor, a lawyer or an IT specialist.

They just need to be given a chance.

children in need

While in the hospital we managed to arrange for a foster home to care for him.

David who was only 21kg when we found him is now flourishing in his new foster home, he is in school which is something he didn't even think would ever happen.

He is doing so well we have had to put him on a diet!

This is just one story of so many, I could talk all day and night about these children and the difference we are making and it's all thanks to the amazing donations so thank you!
