questions in order to fill
in their tables. Then, all
students
work
individually in order to
write a confirmation
letter to the hotel
manager.
This activity helps
students utilize the
information gathered so
far. There is an
information gap so
students ask each other
questions in order to
fill in the missing
information in their
tables. Speaking is
integrated with note
taking which leads to
writing.
Students
become aware of the
different conventions
of spoken and written
language.
