Fitness Trackers – do you use them in the classroom?
My kids and I have challenges and we use the numbers during math. We also use the
calorie count during measurement.

I love it! A group of teachers at my school all
have them. We challenge each other every week
to see who gets the most steps. It is a little
bit of competition but we all really support each
other. We walk in the gym or halls everyday at
lunch. It's great for building strong, supportive
relationships but also helps our fitness.

I have the Fitbit Flex. Sometimes I put it in
my pocket, as I don’t always move my arms
when I walk. The kids laugh at me when I
walk in place while they are doing our counting
game. *by Amanda from South Bend, IN
