It is a new school year and we welcome it
with a healthy dose of optimism. Optimism
has often been defined as hopefulness
and confidence about the future or
the successful outcome of something.
Entering a new school year can come with
its fair share of anxiety and fear. We are
choosing to face it with confidence and
optimism. It is gong to be a great year!

educators joining the various schools and
education bodies across the United Arab
Emirates and the wider MENA region.
Welcome back to all our educators who
are returning from their summer holidays.
I hope you managed to relax, rest and
recharge your batteries.
The 2015-2016 school year holds many
exciting possibilities for us. Before the year
begins, take a moment to reflect and
plan. Write down one goal that you would
like to achieve this year. Post it somewhere
that you will be able to see it everyday.
This can be a personal or professional
goal.
