Abbeyfield and Thirlestaine Park Care Home Residents Show
DATE 16 JUNE – 29 JULY LOCATION DE FERRIERES GALLERY , THE WILSON PRICE FREE This exhibition brings together work by participants of art classes at Abbeyfield , a sheltered housing charity , and Thirlestaine Park , a care home in Cheltenham . The artists shown in this exhibition each have different levels of age related disabilities , yet their work illustrates the importance of continued learning and the therapeutic effect of art on adults with dementia and mental health issues relating to old age .
