Malawi Teacher Exchange
Our Malawi delegates, Aaron Nkhata (Headteacher at Linthipe Secondary School) and Rollina Kawaya (Deputy Headteacher at Linthipe Secondary School), arrived in school on Friday 23 August and will depart on Saturday 31 August. During this time, they have experienced education in Scotland by spending a week observing many different departments in our school, both in Primary and in Secondary. They have also been able to enjoy some of our Scottish food and culture having visited Edinburgh, Blantyre and St Andrews. The Community School of Auchterarder’s partnership link with Linthipe Secondary School in Malawi has been developing since 2007.

Madagascar Opportunity
On Monday 26 August, a meeting was held in school for pupils who may be interested in an excursion to Madagascar in the summer of 2015. This would be an incredible opportunity for pupils who are interested in pursuing a career in Biology or Geography to develop key skills in fieldwork research.
