Have You Tasted Taiwan Yet? Following the success of 2013 Taste Taiwan, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has launched the 2nd edition of Taste Taiwan in 2014. The chefs selected for 2014 include Chef Anthony Jacquet of The Whisper Restaurant and Lounge in Los Angeles, Chef Jared Case of Park Grill in Chicago, and Chef Stuart Cameron of Icon Legacy Group in Toronto. In September 2014, the chefs embarked on an exclusive eight-day adventure to Taiwan, The Heart of Asia. During the trip, the chefs visited the world-famous Taipei 101, experienced an authentic aboriginal tribe’s way of life, wandered through the alleys of Jiufen Old Street, explored the rich wetlands of Taijiang National Park, and cycled around Sun Moon Lake, one of the “Top 10 Breathtaking Cycling Routes” in the world according to CNN Travel. At the end of the trip, the three chefs were asked each to create a dish inspired by their experiences in Taiwan.
