Taste Of Khaos #4 | Page 49

At any point during the recording process was the entire band like a revolving funnel of creative ideas just waiting to thrust forth wonderful metal? Or did things delicately trickle in like an eccentric puzzle waiting to be assembled. So did the entire band actually sit down and write and record the album together in the same room or was the process very similar to with that of the previous album?

Leather Leone: Unfortunately the days of hanging in the studio and creating together are long gone for us. With the exception of myself, all the music is done online. The lost art of all being and creating as a face to face unit is one of true loss for me personally.

I read that Chastain does not do tours, and prefers the studio, what would you say to fans that are dying to see Chastain live, and does this come across a bit selfish of the band, for not at least doing some shows here and there? What would it take for a festival that Chastain couldn't resist to play?

Leather Leone: Chastain has become a recording project only. What I say to all of you who would like to see Chastain is, I as Leather am working on getting out there and performing all the great songs we have created over the years. I have just been added to "Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse" in Chicago May 2016. I am working out dates for my return to Brazil also. My hope is to get to as many of you as possible.

Thank you for your time and for doing this interview for Taste Of Khaos, any last words in parting?

Leather Leone: Thank you for your time. To all my friends who have remained supportive and full of love for me, I say you, have no idea how appreciated you are. We are all in this together. "We bleed Metal" is an expression and sincere

thanks to everyone in this Metal army! We all bleed it!

Love and Dio
