You had Mosher Fest. coming up in Nov. please tell us about that?
It was our second festival, and we grew from 200 to 300 people which, for me, is the ideal number for our city. If we can still have 300 people next year, I’m a happy man. We had portuguese acts like Terror Empire, For the Glory (hardcore), Holocausto Canibal (death grind) and we also had spanish thrashers Mutant and Germany’s Dew-Scented. Apart from a few delays, it all went alright!
Also I see that you have started Mosher Records this month, will you start releasing Terror Empire releases through Mosher? Who's idea was the label, and what is to come of it?
You’ve been paying attention! Thanks for the non-generic questions, really! Terror Empire through Mosher Records… it makes perfect sense! I’d say there’s a fair chance of that happening! I envision Mosher Records working with passion for a few, hand picked releases. I want to give full attention for each record, for each band. It’d be insulting to say we’re not trying to make a few bucks while we’re working in something great, but that’s not what moves us. If I ain’t losing money, that’s alright for me. I want to help the bands Mosher Records signs. I want to give them a proper release and distribution, promotion, etc. When the bands, fans and labels are happy, everyone’s happy. Makes for better music. Our motto is “we bleed music”, and we truly do. I’m always listening to music. Music gets me through.
