What do you feel are some of the most difficult obstacles to overcome being a Metal band,and for Cadaveria as a whole?
The main difficulty for us comes from the fact we are a DIY band and this makes hard to play live regularly or to make a proper European or North American tour, ‘cause we are not represented by a booking agency. Pay to play culture is another obstacle. I believe in meritocracy and I cannot stand bands that pay for slots.
What are some things about you that fans might be surprised to know?
There are many things that fans don’t know about me. Till few months ago just very few people knew my real name, for example. Facebook identity verification forced me to revealit. I always tried to focus fans’ attention on CADAVERIA music, rather than on myself. Some people think CADAVERIA is my solo project, otherwise it is a band where every member gives his contribution. Yes, it is also true that there will be no CADAVERIA without Cadaveria herself…Anyway, going back to your question, one day, when I will have nothing left to do, I will write a book where I will reveal many things that fans will be surprised to know.What

What things would you suggest most to aspiring female Metal musicians?
Be yourself, be humble, work hard and never give up.
What ideas and concepts do you have for the next Cadaveria album, and when do you think it will be released?
Before releasing the sixth chapter of our discography we will concentrate our efforts to another project. I cannot reveal any detail now, but I’m quite sure it will be released in 2016. We are working on this in between the live shows.
How has the response to your Karma double cd been? Do you think you will put something like this out in the future?
Karma double DVD was meant for die-hard fans, those who want to know everything about the ‘behind the scenes’ of our records, music videos, tour life. Reactions have been very positive! It was a hard work, we collected material for 13 years and the selection and the editing were very long. We stopped bringing video cameras with us when we play and we are not planning to release something similar in the future. People who want to see ourupcoming shows must stand up from the sofa.
