Taste Of Khaos #4 | Page 30

I have been special guest for other bands but I never did a duet with another singer on a CADAVERIA song. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons would be more than welcome. I cannot figure out what the result could be, something interesting for sure.

What are a few words that best describes your music to someone that has never heard you?

Well I would say we play a personal music. It’s roots are Death Metal and Black Metal but we like to contaminate it with Gothic and Doom influences without refusing some classical Heavy Metal touches. Vocals mix growl, screaming and clean. This happens naturally. Theresult is dark, powerful and thrilling. We like to call it Horror Metal and it’s quite hard to findanother definition

How difficult is it to be in two metal bands at once as the vocalist? Both are awesome musical creations, Dynabyte is a completely different beast from Cadaveria, do you ever see Dynabyte and Cadaveria touring together, would you love to see that happen?

DyNAbyte is a sleeping project at the moment. The latest album was released in 2010. In these last years I was totally concentrated on CADAVERIA band and on other personal stuff. By the way you can do everything if you want, it is just a matter of organization.

Cadaveria has been doing alot of touring lately, does the band have any pre-show rituals or specific things you routinely do before shows?

Well to wear the stage clothes and to do the make-up are rituals themselves. They are the tools for a transformation that takes place every time from 45 minutes to 1 minute before shows. Every time I have to repeat to the guys where the white foundation, the eye pencilsand the brushes are.

Out of all of the bands you have shared the stage with what bands, and/or bands members really stand out in your mind?

We recently played three shows with Cradle of Filth. I had fun and I also learned a lot. Dani was really in perfect shape.

What are your favorite countries to play live and why?

We usually have a blast each time we return to Mexico. It’s impressive to see how much people love us there. I’m also looking forward to returning to Belgium. We have been there in 2013 last time, at Metal female Voices Fest, and it was magic. Finally I’m dreaming to play in the US soon or later.
