Taste Of Khaos #4 | Page 22

I've always wanted to be in a band, but never expected doing it at this level. If I could time travel and telling 15 years old of myself to what I will be doing in the future, I'm sure he would freak out! Haha.

What was the first guitar that owned or played, was it a gift or did you buy it yourself, do you still own it and play it? Any interesting stories about said guitar?

My first guitar was a cheap Cort acoustic guitar. I bought it for myself when I was 15 and I still own it and play it every once in awhile. I'm sure every guitar player can relate to this, but the first guitar is very special. I will never let her go no matter how many guitars I get. It has all my sweat and effort in it and will always be mine.

Did you ever take any singing lessons or anything growing up, or did this all just come purely natural to you? Did you ever try or want to sing at any point in your life before you were the singer of your previous band?

It all came purely natural to me. I was good at singing since I was a little kid, and I liked singing, but I never thought I would be singing in a Thrash/Death Metal band. When I started my previous band, Hemoptysis, I never wanted to sing and all I wanted to do was write songs, play guitar and have fun with it. As we couldn't find a right singer for the band and the guys liked my growl when I did at the rehearsal, I decided to do double duty because we were tired of looking for a singer and it will make things much easier if I do it. I knew how to sing already by then, so I just figured out naturally how to sing with the style I do now. I still wish I had more freedom on stage sometimes, but it's fun doing it once I hit the stage.

I read in an old interview years ago that revenge drives you. In the making of this album who did you seek revenge against? What sort of hate and stress in life and music motivated this masterpiece of an album to be delivered forth?

There were many people that I seek revenge against before, but I honestly don't care about it anymore and I'm over it. It's more about what you do for yourself for better future.
