The resurrection of our
Lord is our strength. So,
we have to participate in it
to have an eternal life in the
last day. We participate in
His death and resurrection
when we are baptized on
his Holy name. When
abouna submerges us
under the water that is
a burial to us with Christ
and when abouna brings
us up out of the water that
is a new born; new life.
So, sins have no power
over us as long as we
repent and confess them
to both God and abouna.
We also participate in
the resurrection of our
Lord Christ when we
take communion. The
holy body and the sacred
blood of our Lord Jesus
Christ is capable of giving
life to us and that is a form
of participation in His
resurrection by turning
from the death to life.
True belief and trust is
another participation in our
Lord Christ’s resurrection.
When we have faith
in Christ and follow
His
commandments,
we participate in His
resurrection.
Also,
to
participate
in
God’s
resurrection, we need to
love one another not by
words but by good deeds.
That means, by God’s
power, we should not
hesitate to do our best to

help and tend to the needs
of others in a godly manner.
The word of God helps
us to move from death to
life. Reading in the holy
bible and living according
to what is written will
help us to participate in
His resurrection. May the
power of the resurrection
empower us to understand
the true meaning of
this great feast and act
according to God’s well.
