happy/smiling acara.

Males are larger, more colourful and have elongated

History
Previously described as Aequidens curviceps, this fish was reassigned to its own
genus Laetacara , smiling acaras in 1986, by Dr Sven. O. Kullander of the Swedish Museum of Natural History
