What made you start your small business?
Melnaturel began as a solution for me and morphed into something for
everyone. I first sought out to develop a product that would help my eyelashes
grow without turning my eyelids colors - like all of the other products on the
market I tried. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and really wanted
to find a better cure for my hormonal acne because for years nothing I had
been prescribed or tried over the counter worked for me – so I started doing
my own research on natural products and ingredients and started creating
concoctions and testing them on myself.
How did you approach building your brand?
I wanted to create something very clean, minimal, modern, and natural. I have
a strong background in marketing and graphic design so I was able to do
everything myself with the help of a few creative interns on my team.
