then a rustle, rustling,
two silk-feathered doves
hair and skin bumpy, bristly,
then a tail, sprouting,
bursting, clawing.
hacking and scoring
a shred; lacerate
hairs on a head
slowing, bursting
white blonde hairs,
a feather hovering, red.
and the devil
just watching,
biting a nail.
