The children were encouraged to participate in fun filled activities which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Math Day was celebrated on 5th of November 2015 by all the children of primary section with great enthusiasm. For grade IV the day started with a short and informative special assembly presented by the students of Std IV F.
The highlight of the assembly was a short humorous skit to recognise the importance of Mathematics in our daily life followed by a video on some interesting facts of Mathematics. The assembly also featured a powerpoint presentation about some great Indian Mathematicians and their contributions to the world.
Two melodious songs were presented by the children to show how some of the concepts can be learnt easily. The children took part in a Math quiz and speed tests on tables. A video on Tangram followed by an activity to make interesting figures using the cutouts brought out their creativity.
