Green Hope, UAE, conducted its World Environment Day Conference on 1st June 2015, based on the theme, “Seven Billion Dreams, One Planet. Consume with Care’.
In order to create awareness, two events, a Public Speaking Competition on Sustainable Consumption – Getting more out of Less and presentation of a Waste Recycling Machine in the year 2050 were organized. MEGHAN D’SOUZA of grade VIII secured the first position in the Public speaking competition among the various schools that attended the conference.
12 Students from Class VIII of the Middle Section ANJANA ANIL KUMAR, KALYANI GOPAL, SOUNDHARYA, SHITIKSHU VYAS, DEESHITA SOIN, ARZOO BARIANA, MOHAMMUD JAHANGIR, MEGHAN D’SOUZA, SRIKRIPPA KRISHAN, DHANVI BHARADWAJ, SHANJANAA, and AMULYA presented a model of the Waste Recycling Machine in the year 2050 and bagged the first position in the exhibition too.
The students feel proud that they joined the journey of saving the Mother Earth .
