The Betsy is a historic oceanfront hotel that
brings “colonial chic” to South Beach. Zebra
framed mirrors, plantation-like shutters, and
wooden chess sets give the property an intimate
yet worldly feel. Rooms boast individually curat-
ed libraries and poems delicately placed on pil-
lows during turn-down service each night. Grab
a book (or two) and head upstairs to the rooftop
to enjoy The Betsy’s laid-back pool scene or get
photoshoot-ready with fanciful pastel accesso-
ries. Forgot to pack them? The Webster, a trendy
three-storey boutique long known for luring so-
phisticated shoppers, is only a quick walk away
