Well I’m not gonna lie, Lake Ontario tribs get a crazy amount of pressure in the early fall. Since I’m not into the whole combat thing I’ll wait for the weather to turn cold and the crowds thin out. Clearly egg patterns are the predominant fly for spawn season so strike two.
