Step #9:
Add a set of Jungle Cock Eyes… This is optional and is not required to finish off the pattern, but is preferred... I have found that fishing patterns with a very visible eye can be a trigger on predatory fish such as Steelhead, Salmon, and Trout.
*If you chose to add your eyes make sure to build a small and uniform head of thread, and coat with a slight about of crazy glue. Crazy Glue is now available with a brush allowing clean and easy application. I rarely whip finish or half hitch anymore. The glue is stronger than any knot you can tie. Your pattern should finish out around 3.5- 4 inches.
