14-16. Prepare the final Composite Loop
A good rule of thumb is the dubbing loop should be 3x the length of the space on the fly you want to fill...Preparing black Ice Dub again for consistent length, lay it down “50/50” on the black line. The stack should be about 3 inches long in this case, to fill a one inch space. Over this lay blue barred ostrich (70/30), blue Polar Fiber (50/50), and purple Senyo Wacko Hackle (50/50), and a little more black dubbing as your “velcro” on top.
