There are no great secrets with this one. A top quality Spey rod is a rod which bends all the way into the cork and has a good recovery speed without the tip folding, allowing for line speed to be generated effectively.
And how about a good spey line?
A good Spey line is a line that is perfectly balanced; that leaves the rod tip and maintains good shape and speed without sagging and entering the water backend first.
