NOMI is an exciting new concept in
Australian designed and made furniture.
Designed by you online, made of timber,
with customisable colours and other
options, delivered to you (flatpacked) free
with no tools required for assembly. By
combining online technology, product
design and efficient manufacturing
processes, we aim to provide affordable
and accessible designer furniture that
can be customised online. Simplicity is
at the core of the range with clean
lines
and
unassuming
proportions
making it suitable for the home and
office. Each piece of bespoke furniture
is hand-crafted in Melbourne from solid
oak, sourced from ethically harvested
forests.

All furniture is made with solid European
Oak or Teakwood. Due to the high
levels of natural oils in the timbers, the
furniture has exceptional durability,
emphasising the beautiful colour and
texture. Some of the ranges are made
of reclaimed teak. This is sourced from
old warehouses and neglected buildings
of no historical importance in Java. It
is reflecting our commitment to our
environment, as these ranges are
labelled with the FSC 100% recycled
CoC (Chain of Custody) certification
obtained by our teak distribution
centres. Other ranges of furniture are
made
with
new
matured
teak,
guaranteed from sustainable teak
plantations in Java, originally set up by
the Dutch about 150 years ago.
