CONTINUED FROM PAGE 7 GARY MCGILLIVRAY, KML: The combined meeting seemed to work well. It’s much better for networking. This is a powerhouse, especially the programming and the speakers. I’m excited about next year. It was a nice turnout, but I’d like to see more of the A&D community. Karim was inspirational. TONYA SPENS, PANEL PROCESSING: DON RAYMOND, UNIBOARD CANADA: When I first heard about the concept (of combining the CPA meeting and the symposium), I was skeptical. I’d say it’s a success. Take a look at the enthusiasm. Take a look at the interaction of the people. I think we’ve hit an interesting format. I think if you do it next year, it’s going to be double what it is today. The programming has been excellent. I would give it five stars all the way. I’m very, very pleased. KELLY SHOTBOLT, ARAUCO NORTH AMERICA: I think this has been the best CPA fall meeting we’ve had, evidenced by the people who showed up, by the nature of the speakers. I hope that this continues. It’s added a lot of value as far as I’m concerned. EMILIO AYUB, DURAPLAY, CPA CHAIRMAN: I think this is exciting. From what we’ve seen, the attendance and the interest that has been developed through the meetings and through the talks, it’s encouraging to do this again. This combination has been worthwhile. We’ve seen so many new things that we normally don’t see in our regular meetings. I think this is the way to go.
