This “vinotherapy” is said to have a rejuvenating effect on the skin and to slow the aging process. Meet our Partners JUSTIN GLANVILLE | DELTA AIR LINES It’s not everyday you meet a commercial analyst for a major international airline who is also a martial arts instructor and plays the bagpipes. But then you probably haven’t met Justin Glanville. Justin has more than two decades of experience in the airline industry. Before joining Delta as a commercial analyst, he worked for Qantas Airways, Etihad Airways, Fastjet and TAAG Angola Airlines. He crunches stats and revenue figures to quantify how the airline is performing and puts together reports or market forecasts to inform future business development and sales. And after all that office work, Justin heads over to his tae kwon do fitness academy at least three nights a week and teaches the traditional Korean art of self defence. “I discovered my interest in martial arts when I was in primary school, watching old martial arts movies. As a boarder in high school, I was unable to leave the hostel to train at any martial arts venue, so I vowed I would start as soon as possible after matriculating. Subsequently, I found a suitable martial arts school and started training in 1995,” Justin explains. Justin’s mother was always in the travel industry, but it was never his intention to follow in her footsteps – “it just worked out that way” when he saw how exciting it could be. “The travel industry is very dynamic – the constant changes and innovations are fascinating, and seeing the evolution in technology excites me. I’m passionate about travel, so I’m always excited to experience new and different destinations.” As for favourite destinations, anywhere tropical will do. “I have been blessed to visit many tropical islands, including the Comores, Mauritius, Zanzibar and some islands off the coast of Malaysia. I also love Eastern Europe , having been to Russia, Belarus and Estonia, and I am enjoying any opportunities to visit the USA, now that I work for Delta Air Lines.” Next on his bucket list? South America. MAKE MEMORIES FOR LIFE // 13
