OLD-FASHIONED HOTELS
In a finding that contradicts trend
predictions, a new study in the US has
found that millennial travellers would
rather stay in a hotel than in someone’s
Airbnb home.
According to the 2018 Future of
Millennial Travel Report that surveyed
1 500 millennial travellers’ preferences,
less than 25% preferred Airbnb to hotels.
They like hotels – preferably luxury
hotels – followed by resorts and then
staying with family and friends. As for
why, the general consensus was that
they preferred the full services, facilities
and service levels available at hotels
and resorts.
