Hearing of the swoon-worthy sunsets of Zanzibar ’ s west coast , Jenna Berndt checked into the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa . She came back vouching not only for the sunsets , but the sundowners too .
LOCATION , LOCATION , LOCATION It took us only five hours from boarding our Mango flight in Johannesburg to arriving at Sea Cliff and a warm welcome of traditional dances , cool towels and fresh coconut water . The west coast resort is hidden at the end of a dirt road through an old coconut plantation . There are no other hotels in sight , yet it ’ s only 18 kilometres from the tourist hub of Stone Town and 25 kilometres from Zanzibar Airport . The perfect exotic hideaway .
