A-Z CHARITY ENTRIES AND BENEFICIARIES Limited charity entries for the Ultra Marathon (250) and Half Marathon (2000) will be available from 4 December 2017. Entry fees and/ or fundraising criteria are set by the various charities. Please also donate to one of our four chosen beneficiaries for 2018: Wildlands, The Igazi Foundation, Waves for Change and The Chaeli Campaign. Athletes who fail to obey the race officials will be subject to disciplinary action and may be banned from participation in the Two Oceans Marathon in future. Transport will be provided at all the cut-off points to take runners back to the finish. CONFIRMATION OF ENTRY Entries can be confirmed on the website by hovering your mouse over “Enter” and then by clicking on “Am I entered?” and printing the acknowledgement page. Your original entry was acknowledged to a valid e-mail address (as supplied), and your race number is SMSed to you. Please ensure that you bring a form of entry confirmation, your timing chip and ID document (or permanent residence permit) to race number collection at the Expo. CLUB KIT All South Africans should wear the official clothing of their athletics club for the Ultra Marathon, and if they are entered as a club member in the Half Marathon. Club kit must be worn to qualify for team prizes. Your race day kit must also comply with the relevant advertising rules. Your 2018 Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon race numbers must be worn unaltered throughout the race on the front and back of your running vest and NOT on your running shorts. CUT-OFFS 56km: The race is run from gun to mat, and the official cut-off is 7 hours. Runners who have not reached the following marks in the times specified will not be allowed to continue: • 25km at 09h40 – Sunvalley, Corsair Way. • 28km at 10h00 – Halfway, Noordhoek Main Road. • 42.2km at 11h50 – Outside Four Season’s Guest Farm, Hout Bay Main Road. 21km: The official cut-off time at the finish is 09h20. Runners who have not reached the corner of Rhodes Drive and Orchard Avenue (18km) by 09h00 will not be allowed to continue. Runners who can’t walk an 17
