The World is Her Runway.

She started modeling at the age of 15. At 18 she has already modeled for Vogue France, Vogue
Italia,L’Officiel and Jalouse. I will tell you more than just her name - I will be telling you the
fairytale story of a girl who has made the world her runway.
An exclusive interview with the world’s next top model, Jordan van der Vyver reveals the following intimate details of exactly who she is:
If you could meet anyone in the world (dead or alive) who would it be and what would you say to
him/her?
Jordan: Audrey Hepburn for sure. I would tell her how much I admire her not only for her
elegance but also for the charity she started and those she supported. She had both beauty and
brains which is priceless.
Who inspired you to become a model?
Jordan: My mom inspired me. She was a model and I have always admired her in general so
when I was little I wanted to be just like my mommy. She is an amazing person.
What challenges do you face being a model?
Jordan: Modeling will always have it’s challenges. I was young in the beginning and I was also
only doing it part-time (being in school and all). Full-time modeling posed more challenges. The
challenges are the same for most models which are eating right, exercising, staying healthy but
of course there always is jealousy from others. I am not the first to experience it and I am certainly not the last.
How did you become a model?
Jordan: I started modeling through a model search. My agency sponsored me and I have been
with them ever since so becoming a model was easy for me.
What is your definition of ‘beautiful’?
Jordan: To be beautiful is to be so happy inside yourself that you can’t stop it from showing on
the outside.
When were you born?
Jordan: 13 September 1995.
Finally, what is your life motto?
Jordan: My life motto is more of a life goal. I simply want to inspire others. I want people to look
at me and say “because of you, I did not give up.” Perseverance is very important to me.
