Matthew Mole is himself which is very rare in the world today. He laughs off the haters
and learns from constructive criticism. He does not write music to gain popularity he
writes music because, as he says, he is not the best at speaking but through music he is
completely comfortable. In 2013 Matthew Mole became the first South African artist to
enter iTunes at number 1 with his album “The Home We Built.” In 2014 he is a 3 time
SAMA nominee.
Matthew Mole describes his music as electronic folk and he is definitely one of the
