created a platform for you to feel challenge yet inspired and as you embark on this life changing
journey to stepping on stage you will realise that your dreams will become both achievable and a
reality.

Body Beautiful South Africa was started by Team Mother & Daughter, Hayley & Lauren-Leigh
Porter in 2008. Lauren-Leigh entered into the industry of Fitness in February 2007 and went on
to enter and win the title of Ms Physique SA in August that year. In November 2007 Lauren-Leigh
went to the Fitness America Championships in Hollywood and placed 3rd in the Miss Bikini America World Championships. It was then that she discovered a great passion for the industry of
Fitness & decided to birth her very own pageant Mr & Ms Body Beautiful SA. The company is now
in its 7th year and continues to grow from strength to strength.
Lauren-Leigh has paved a way for the growth of Fitness in South Africa & is known as an icon and
role model to many. She has presented herself over the years as a true champion, not only on
stage but off the stage amongst ordinary people where her true heart for changing lives is clearly

Pieter du Plessis, started in the fitness industry as he would say by accident. Passion that he
didn’t even know he had was discovered last year at Beautiful Show and instantly discovered
something deep inside that was long overdue to come out.
