What’s with the beard dude? Is there any story
behind it?
There’s actually no story behind the beard. It just takes effort to
shave. Lol. So I just let it grow and people liked it.
What do you do for money, what do you for passion and what do you do for love?
I do accounting. That’s my profession and how I actually make my
money. Writing and performing is what I love to do. If I could – I’d
do it all day, every day.

Could you please tell the world what Spoken Word
is?
Spoken Word Namibia is an organization that was formed by a
group of young creatives about 10 years ago who saw the need
for a performance poetry platform. Every month there is a Spoken
Word poetry event where local poets perform to the public.
Namibia is sizzling
at the moment. Live
music, comedy and
especially fashion is
blooming like a great
wild flower in the sun.
And one form of expression that is especially staying relevant and inspiring is
poetry. We speak to

Playshis, is a citizen
of the world. This
kind hearted introverted Namibian who
profoundly expresses
himself through art,
cares about people
and finds pleasure in
helping them when
they need it.
