Sean K
He’s a singer. No, he’s a copy writer. No a stylist. Actually, he’s a Fashion
Blogger. Sean Kamati, better known as Sean K, on a typical day would be
at home in his undies, enjoying series such as Vampire Diaries and others
that allows the mind to wonder into creativity. That is unless he is in studio
recording.
Sean K describes himself as a “...Jack of all traits and
master in all…” and yes as conceited as it might sound
he surely is in lead with Namibia’s number one blogging
site – Vakwetu. “The blogging site Vakwetu started as a
joke with my co-founder Niita Emvula during a lunch
date,” he says.
And little did they know it was on its way to become Namibia’s number one fashion blogging site. The site aims
to create a platform where local designers and models
can showcase their creativity and talent. The creators
of the blog are constantly striving to expand Vakwetu in
becoming a household brand. With the revolution
within the African fashion industry, Sean K says it’s becoming more apparent that the continent’s becoming
more appreciative of local designs and creations.
