Supermodels SA June 2015 Issue 46 | Page 32

Rachel on the GO Have you ever had an motorcycle accident? Oh, yes I have been down, but I was wearing one of my products…and yes, Rachel, it DID work! I am the big tester (lol). What has been your biggest accomplishment as a designer? Well I think my biggest accomplishment has been to get Planet Zero Motorsports out there as a brand name. That is the biggest and first big hurdle in producing a fashion line; getting the name established is the biggest hurdle and I am very proud of the fact that Planet Zero Motorsports is starting to get recognized and people are calling all the time; they want me to do fashion shows and photo shoots. Lastly, I am interested in helping people grow in their careers. Where do you see your line Planet Zero Motorsports in five years? Hopefully, in five years I want to create a niche for high-end motorcycle wear and high-end haute couture. I want very high, super-high-end sportswear for the fashion industry. The main objective is that if you would like wearing these outfits, you can and if you don’t want to ride you will still look cool and in style. I want people to know that you can be fashionable and protected at the same time. Special thanks to Supermodels SA, designer Kenya Smith, photographers Asa Williams and Robert RedStar, and to all the models. Want more of Kenya Smith and Planet Zero Motorsports?
