Take on a new hobby: It has to be the one thing
which you have always wanted to do. Learn to do
something you have never done before, read that
book, take that leap, climb that mountain. Start
today!
Take a series of selfies: Yes, it may seem lame at first,
but once you put 25 days worth of selfies together
(easily through photoshop or other editing programs) you will be able to make a fun board to share
with family and friends as your Christmas card.
GYM. We cannot put enough emphasis on healthy living.
Don’t throw it all away over December. Remember, if you
work hard during the holidays, you won’t be the fat Amy
sweating it off in January.
Make time for family: This is after all what the holidays are
about. Don’t waste time arguing, but rather spend the time
really talking to each other (without phoning or texting in
between) and get to know the people you spend most of
your time with.
Make time for yourself. Holidays are about relaxing – totally
relaxing and becoming synced with yourself again. Find your
balance, breathe, and let it go. Start 2015 with a fresh outlook on life
These are the Top 10… but there is still one more…
Our plus 1: Make time to give back to your community.
Volunteer at an old age home or support local cancer
patients. Attend fundraisers for charities donating
food and clothing to the needy or open a soup kitchen.
Whatever you do, don’t be ordinary! Don’t settle –
hustle! Help those in need and see how your own life
will gain meaning and value. The biggest plus one this
summer, is realising that you are on this earth to serve
and not merely to exist. Be extraordinary in 2015!
