How long have you been in the legal field?

I have worked in the legal field since 2009.

Why did you decide to join the legal field?

I knew I wanted to be in the legal field prior to graduating high school, I just was unsure of what capacity. I decided complete my BS in Paralegal, because I wanted to potentially go to law school. However, I had some my uncertainty regarding that, so I wanted a career path in the event I chose not to continue on with graduate school. Pre-law just didn’t peak my interest in that department!

Prior to working in the legal field, I worked for Scheels, and I served at a few different restaurants throughout the FM area, which is where I am from. Once I got my foot in the door though, I didn’t look back.

“Go for it.” If you’re considering something, why not just go for it and see what happens. 99% of the time, I’ve surprised myself in what I’m capable of doing!

I’m pretty proud of finishing college. I’m the first person in my family/extended family to complete a four year degree. I’m also a little proud (biased) of my two kids.

What is your favorite movie and/or book?

I am a suspense/romance junkie, and own almost every single book Sandra Brown has ever written. My favorite movie is Mystery, Alaska.

I’d really like to get my certification.
