4. Why did you decide to join the legal field?
I have always been interested in the legal field. Actually, if I think about it, I became interested after I started reading John Grisham books. I had always wanted to go to law school – and even went as far as taking the LSAT and being accepted – but for some reason, I decided that being a Paralegal was what I really wanted to do.
5. How have you benefited from WDALA?
I have met some amazing people and have gotten to attend some great seminars!
6. What prior jobs did you have before you entered the legal field?
In college I worked at Gander Mountain and also for Senator Dorgan. Prior to that I was a waitress, worked in a grocery store and also hoed evergreen trees at a local nursery.
7. What is the best advice you have received?
Do not let your workday carry over to when you get home from work.
