Where do you work and what is your practice area?
Minot Public Defenders’ Office - criminal defense. However, I did just accept a position with KeyPoint Government Solution as a field investigator
What is your educational background?
I graduated from American Military University with a BS in legal studies this coming May.
How long have you been in the legal field?
Since June 2016
How have you benefited from WDALA?
I believe I’ve benefited from WDALA. Between the networking and continuing education, this organization has given me a lot of opportunities to choose the field and specialty that’s right for me.
What prior jobs did you have before you entered the legal field?
I was a nuclear weapons maintainer in the Air Force for six years.
What is the best advice you have received?
Never say "that's not my job" when being assigned a task.
