July 18 to 20, 2017. It was three jam packed days of education and learning. WDALA NALA Liaison Alice Johnson, ACP, attended on behalf of WDALA and Melissa Klimpel, ACP, and I attended as representatives of NALA. We connected with Red River Valley Paralegal Association (RRVPA) President Lisa Kilde, and past RRVPA member Lisa Kasper. I would like to thank the NALA Board Members, Committee Chairs and Members for their support over the last two years. It has gone by much faster than I thought it would. I would encourage you to think about volunteering to serve WDALA, as a committee member, helping out with seminar planning or with the charity your region works with. It can be as little or as much as you want. It is a great way to learn more about WDALA and your fellow paralegals.
