A Tribute to Mildred Lofton Quotes of previous and current staff members included in the eulogy Patrick Getlein gave at Ms. Mildred (Millie) Lofton’s memorial service on Friday, June 24. Millie with Anna Moncure and Karen Smith at her retirement party on May 13, 2016. The fact is during some very difficult times at Mayo House, when I felt under some pretty significant pressures, there was one — ONE — office I could walk into, sit down, and reroot myself in conversations about the things that actually matter in this life.
