Mindfulness is the art of paying attention to the present
moment. Often learned through meditation, it helps us
develop a non-judgmental and heightened awareness to our
feelings, thoughts, and sensations. Research has shown that
mindfulness can reduce stress, increase productivity, and
help us lead a happier life. Come join us every Wednesday
to learn how mindfulness meditation can help you. No
experience necessary. There is no fee for this class but
donations to the Foundation for Napa Recreation are
welcome and appreciated. No class on 5/17/17.

The Literary Seniors Book Group is interesting, informative,
and intriguing! We meet once a week to discuss individual
reading choices from fiction, nonfiction, classics, mystery,
history, and current reviews. Whether you read from a book,
an electronic reader, CD, or tape, join us to share your
literary experiences. We are not an ordinary book club as we
do not all read the same thing at the same time. This format
is less expensive and more engaging than the typical style.
