StarLab Training
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Looking at the night sky can be so tranquil; imagine now doing it during the
day! If you are interested in using the AISD mobile planetarium during the
school year, you will need the necessary know -how to set it up, run it, and
break it down. Spend half a day learning these skills and planning lessons
that will engage, excite, and ignite your students. This is not just for the
science teacher! There are many ways to use the night sky to teach math,
geography, social studies, ELA, the arts, and more!
NOTES:
Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers to the training session. In
addition to the face-to-face class, participants will be required to submit two
