Aledo Writing Process
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Aledo Writing Process is a 4-day, in-depth training for teachers as well as
administrators, examining the writing process in its entirety from pre -writing
to publishing. In addition, participants are able to create hands -on lessons,
collaborate with other educators, and develop a strong writing curriculum.
NOTES:
This course is required for all Kindergarten through 4th grade teachers, all
Special Education teachers, as well as all 5th through 12 grade ELA / Social
Studies teachers.
WHAT TO BRING:
You will be creating a writing unit during this course. Please bring a laptop,
textbook, anthology, trade books, or novels, as well as any other materials to
create the unit. You will also need your Thinking Maps binder.
