What is your current position?
I am a partner at Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm
in Dickinson. I’m the Southwest District
Representative on the SBAND Board, and
I am also the Southwest Bar Association
President.
What is your hometown, college attended,
and law school attended?
I grew up in Hettinger, North Dakota. I
attended Dickinson State University (DSU)
and obtained degrees in Political Science and
History. I graduated from the University of
North Dakota School of Law in 2012.

What professional work did you do before
law school?
Upon graduating from DSU, I worked at
Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm under Attorney
Glen Bruhschwein prior to attending law
school. I clerked at Mackoff Kellogg for the
two summers prior to graduating law school.
What led you to a career in law?
I have always wanted to have a career in the
law. It is a fascinating field. Every day you are
given the opportunity to impact someone’s
life. Whether that is prevailing in a lawsuit,
drafting a will, or prosecuting or defending a
crime. It’s a humbling experience to be a part
of something like that.
How long have you been on the SBAND
Board?
I was elected to the position in March 2016.
What other involvement have you had with
SBAND prior to being on the Board?
I have served on the Inquiry Committee
West since 2013, and I am currently the chair
of the committee.
What is your favorite quote?

What are some of the hobbies you enjoy?
I enjoy teaching cycling classes at the local
community center, watching a good movie,
and spending time with my husband, Brian.
