Lezli Moore- Model Behavior

For many people becoming a model is a dream come true. This is what happened to Lezli Moore. She never thought she would be modeling. To her this was a challenge that she placed for herself and so far she has accomplished that goal.

Q. What made you start modeling?

A. I started modeling mainly because I didn’t think I could. It was more of a challenge to myself.

Q. How long have you been modeling for?

A. I’ve been modeling for over 9 years

Q. What the biggest highlights of your career? Any why?

A. Having my daughter see me perform alongside Kevin Hart. She was only a year at the time, but the excitement and happiness of seeing me on stage was still there. That’s something I will treasure forever. That, along with the first time she saw my face on products in a retail store. She asked me to take pictures of her with them!!

Q. What was your biggest career mistake? And what did you learn from it?

A. My biggest career mistake was going to my first shoot alone. I learned in this industry that a model has to be careful in every sense of the word.

Q. Where do you see your career in 3 years?

A. I see a booming success, lol! I find myself doing more coaching than modeling now and I think that’s where I’m headed these days.

Q. What are your goals?

A. I’ve achieved most of them to be honest. The only thing left is a billboard. (sigh) Oh, and Vogue.

Q. Who is your favorite model? And why?

A. That’s a tough one. I’m going to have to say Iman. Her beauty, grace and pure talent can’t be anything but admired. She is class personified. Plus, she was a nerd when she was younger like me!!

Q. What was your favorite modeling job? And why?

A. My favorite modeling job was the video I shot with Wayne Wonder. It was fun, carefree and pretty cool. He and his team were very accommodating and professional and I would definitely work with him again.

Q. What are your strengths as a model?

A. My strengths as a model are my ability to adapt and my humble nature. I strive to make everyone on set as comfortable as if we’d all known each other for years. Most people’s defenses are up and shoots can be stressful, but quality work is created with relaxed and happy individuals.

Q. What are your weaknesses as a model?

A. My weaknesses are the same as my strengths. My willingness to adapt has sometimes put me in precarious situations. I’ve been close to fainting due to not taking a break without water on a 100 degree outdoor shoot to appease a photographer. My humility has had me not speak up for myself especially in the beginning which could have opened more doors earlier on.

Q. What fashion designer would you like to work with in the future?

A. Being that I adore working with up and coming designers, I’m definitely open to suggestion in that arena.
