Our Feature Cover: Meet Our President The Creative, Talented Model/Designer and Writer ELIZABETH “LIZ” DICKER aka “LizPetique”
A true humanitarian at heart, Elizabeth “Liz” Dicker embodies the definition to the fullest sense of the word. As a single mother of three with two special need sons, Liz has never allowed personal circumstances to interfere with her charitable efforts to improve the quality of life for others.
Liz’s tenacity to survive was evident having been born weighing only 2 lbs. Her persistence and ability to thrive in less than favorable conditions was, without a doubt, attributed to the unwavering faith that her family instilled in her from birth.
Liz’s professional and artistic journey was predestined as a young child. As a young girl, she possessed an uncanny aptitude for poetry, prose, dance, and fashion. Though she was born into a petite-sized frame, her audacity to stealthily walk fashion runways throughout the tri-state area despite industry stereotypes made her a highly requested feature runway and print model, runway coach, choreographer, and eventual creative producer of fashion and talent showcases. Ignoring the inclinations of the fashion industry to utilize models of particular proportions and height, Liz continues to pioneer the way for greater utilization of petite models throughout New York and New Jersey metropolitan area for more than 2 decades. which consist of New York Fashion Week and Jersey City Fashion Week. She was the State Regional Queen as “Ms. Classy Petite” of NJ , of Today’s American Woman Pageantry in 2016. She currently, is the brand model brand ambassador for Miss Fashion Week Jersey City. Having the love for fashion Liz has now taken her journey in becoming a fashion designer with her own collection line as LPD-Zigns. Liz, also is the President of a upcoming magazine called Sultry Reigns that will be out in published this Fall, which will be available in print and digital format.
Also having recurrent roles as a lead and supporting actress of both stage and film, Liz has not strayed from her foundational concerns for domestic and international women’s empowerment and leadership development. Although, she was a active board member of the prestigious New Jersey based Jefferson Foundation during the year of 2016 she is still willing to support this foundation and its importance when time permits her to, which honors citizens who tirelessly serve their communities and beyond with excellence. Always a champion of special causes, Elizabeth’s international efforts includes fundraising in the United States for many different charities. Additionally, Liz also has currently open up her own non profit organization called “Angelic Halo”, her foundation actively supports and raised awareness in health, in particular Cancer and Juvenile Diabetes as well as, recognizing in honorship to the angels in our communities that assist to making it better.
Her foundation is to build and create structure, guide and inspiration to young women, young men, and children abroad.. The Angelic Halo Foundation, is a family of earthly angels that are there to do the righteous things in life. Which is to build, guide, give and support.
ELIZABETH “LIZ” DICKER is undisputedly a global pillar of inspiration, quiet leadership, and empowerment who selflessly teaches others how to defy the odds to achieve their dreams and goals.
