Before the show, no one knew who she was. Now she must keep her studio door locked and it's by appointment now. What keeps her motivated is taking breaks, seeing other artists and spending time with her family, which she is very close too.
I asked what her message was to the world she replied that coming from a family of dancers and singers in New Mexico, She represents the Native American side of the festivals. She loved being behind the scenes watching everyone getting ready for the show. She loved the colors and everything coming together transforming into something amazing and beautiful. She was designing as young as she can remember. Being of native culture you have to create your own clothes and she knows you have to take care of them.
