I'm a 40 year old divorced mother of 4, I have a senior aged 21 at Vanderbilt University and a Sophomore in transfer who completed a year at Oklahoma State University and now is attending a semester at community college due to family hardship. I also have a 16 year old daughter who loves to write music and sing and plays basketball and a 14 year old son who plays football and run track at our local high school. My children are very active in the community and serve on various leadership boards as presidents and Vice President. They've kept me busy for years from little league soccer , tennis, softball, track, football and volley ball. I love serving my community and helping people. I've always been very active in and out of our community schools. All that changed for me one unexpected day.

I was diagnosed with (FSGS) Focal Glomerulosclerosis Neprotic Syndrome Chronic Kidney disease March 8,2007 and now am at Stage 3 that is said to lead to renal failure, there are 5 stages, BUT GOD. I am also a two time leukemia survivor and bone marrow transplant recipient. I started having my medical staff and friends, family and supporters get swabbed to join the bone marrow registry as soon as I was diagnosed. This has been a long journey since my first diagnosed in 2012 and the pathways along the way have been even harder being diagnosed again in 2014. I stumble and get back up. I wake up everyday "thankful" because he thought I was worth saving and my purpose has not been fulfilled. I want to provide everyday resources no one could provide for me and my family through our financial hardships, eviction, homelessness, emotional distress , divorce, and the major toll it took on my family to other cancer patients and their families.
